Who is responsible. This site is run by Jonathan Calder. Anything about your information, including a request to see or delete what is held, goes to contact@jonathancalder.com and is dealt with by him, promptly.
Cookies. This website is a set of plain pages. It sets no advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts of its own. The only thing stored in your browser is a single note that you have closed the cookie notice, so it doesn't nag you twice. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may record your browser's request in the ordinary way; the site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs for security.
Analytics. None at present. If that changes, this page will say so first.
If you join the Reader Team or send a message through the forms on this site, what you type is stored privately in the site's own database (hosted by Cloudflare) so I can read and answer it. Your name and email address are kept only to send you occasional book news. They are never sold or passed on. Reply with the word unsubscribe at any time and they are deleted. If you write to contact@, your message is kept only for as long as it takes to reply and deal with it.
